Connections Groups

Monthly support groups providing social opportunities and training for families in the process of fostering and adopting through the foster care system.  Our next M.A.C. Connections Group meets June 23 in Wake Forest, NC. Each family is required to attend an orientation before joining Connections. Click here to request more information.           

M.A.C. KIDS Division

A division of Mercy for America's Children devoted to children and teens currently in foster care or in the process of being adopted. This division holds monthly meetings offering a chance to connect for support, attend special outings, and participate in service projects.

Family Mentoring

This program pairs families new to fostering or adoption with experienced families that have been through the process of fostering or adoption. The mentor family provides valuable guidance and support.                                 

Featured Services

Behavioral Support Team 

We offer the services of a team of experts in behavior management who are available upon request to consult and assist in behavior planning and problem solving. Techniques and strategies are delivered by a trained TBRIĀ® Practitioner. 

Academic Support Team 

A team of state certified teachers is available to assist with any academic needs or challenges. 

Specialized Training

Specialized training sessions are offered throughout the year in our Connections groups for families in the process of fostering or adopting.
